. . . Sanafir Hotel . . .
The Sanafir hotel is the venue for the first-ever Pacha club in Africa and the Middle East. Having established a reputation for top class club nights and an impressive roster of visiting DJs, Egypt's number one nightclub takes a decisive step towards super-clubdom by taking on the hallowed Pacha name. Clubbers are treated to regular visits from the likes of Pete tong, Judge Jules, Smokin' Joe and John Kelly. The glamorous venue incorporates cocktail bars, outdoor pools and private VIP rooms that come complete with terraces overlooking the action. The rooms can be booked for the party, the night or for a few days holiday. Guests can party in private whilst being surrounded by the sites and sounds of the nightclub. Where else can you pre-party, party and continue for the sunrise session? Pacha also offers rides on board the Pacha boat. After a hard night's clubbing, hop on board and cruise the coral rich waters of the Red Sea, sip cocktails and dance on the decks. The boat is licensed for just 20 people and can be booked as a private charter or by individuals.

HOUSE NATION IN EGEPT
HOUSE NATION @THE BUS STOP, PUB & CLUB From the Bus Stop evolved the revolutionary to Egypt, House Nation parties. Since August 1999, every Thursday, the House Nation parties have been held with a number of participants growing up to 2000 and 2500 persons per event. For this purpose, The Bus Stop moves into the courtyard of Sanafir and its balcony become the VIP area overlooking the whole party.
House Nation has become the event where people can get together and express their enthusiasm and devotion towards House and Techno music.
Every Thursday, clubbers gather in the magical, authentic, desert-style architecture of Sanafir, a beautiful open-air arena, which is converted into a huge dance floor. The crowd enjoys dancing in the court, on the terraces, on top of the domes, in the lagoon shaped swimming pool, and under the waterfalls.
Our resident DJ Madou plays the music with whirling dervishes, fire-acrobats and cube dancers. This all gets you into a 1001 Nights atmosphere with a Techno mood. A laser show sends beams of infinity up to the starry sky, towards the sea, and crossing the entire bay.
The House Nation party and has TWO zones with 2 DJ’s. What a nice way to spend your evening grooving from a mood to another, and from an area to another. You’d rather some R&B and Latin in the outdoor area or move inside to the Dance and Techno music. Well, it’s up to you! You don’t have to decide now, just come and choose then.
See you...
MUSIC has been the biggest passion in TIESTO`s life and has
always felt the need to share that passion with other people.
A mainstay in his native Holland, Tijs Verwest aka DJ Tiesto, recounts his first brush with bringing forth his passion for music at the tender age of 8 years old. In the early days of his career, he played records at drive-in disco shows where his sound focused on club music from the Dutch chart parade. Narrowing his scope to a fusion of house beats laden over a bass heavy groove, Tiesto then started playing out at a well known club in Breda called The Spock. Resisting the sounds and trends of the time, he caught the attention of the GM of Rotterdam's based label, Basic Beat Recordings, by creating his own distinctive style and sound. From this, Tiesto's first mixed series entitled Forbidden Paradise was born. Shortly after, he formed his record label, Black Hole Recordings and released his own Magik cd series. He also mixed the first two Space Age volumes and the much respected In Search Of Sunrise 1, 2 and 3. Through these imports, Tiesto was raised to mythical status in the States by his cult following.
Tiesto's US debut was marked with the release of Summerbreeze (2000), a mixed album featuring his remix of "Silence". Peaking the Billboard Charts at #3, "Silence" featured the vocals of Sarah McLachlan which became a mega-club hit, remaining one of the most influential tracks of this progressive dance era. This was what indeed made the world fall in love with him. It was this record which fully broke Tiesto in the U.K., spending four weeks in the Top Ten.
Tracks like Flight 643, Urban/Suburban Train and Gouryella - his collaboration with fellow Dutch trancemeister Ferry Corsten - have been played by everyone from Pete Tong to Paul Oakenfold. In fact Oakenfold has become his greatest ally, asking Tiesto to mix the opening track on his album Bunkka and putting Tiesto tracks on all his recent compilation albums.
There has become a huge demand for Tiesto's remixes, and so after declining a remix for U2, he did a great remix for Dave Matthews Band's 'The Space Between', which set a new standard for mixing rock and house music. Tiesto has also remixed a track from Moby's album, "18" featuring 2 b-sides - Love of Strings and Life's So Sweet.
In Summer of 2001, Tiesto ruled Godskitchen in Ibiza. In 2002, he was snapped up by Cream who gave him a residency at Amnesia alongside Paul Van Dyk. "2002 is the first year I've had a real residency in Ibiza so it gives me the chance to play some longer sets and influence the sound of Ibiza," he stated.
But it is America where Tiesto has caused the biggest impression. The Americans lap up his DJ sets, he loves their "youthful enthusiasm" and was high on the bill at the last Coachella festival in Palm Springs. It was a phenomenal 2002 for DJ Tiesto, who started the year by playing four major New Year's Eve parties, reaching 60,000 people in the UK. He also embarked on a 12 date U.S stadium tour with Moby & David Bowie, Carl Cox, and Digweed, and still had time to jet off to his residency in Ibiza.
After winning almost every dance related award in 2002, a crown was put on his career by being voted the number 1 DJ in the world in DJ Magazine`s Top 100. He repeated this achievement for the second consecutive year in 2003.

After selling 12 million albums since their debut in 2000, 3 Doors Down are releasing their third studio album entitled Seventeen Days (Republic/Universal) on February 8, 2005. The album, recorded at Ocean Way Studios in Nashville, Tennessee and produced by Johnny K (Finger 11, Disturbed) features twelve original songs including the road weary ballad "Landing In London" which features Bob Seeger.
The record's first single "Let Me Go" was released to rock radio in December 2004 and is already Top 10 on most rock stations nationwide and climbing the Top Twenty of Billboard's various rock charts, including #9 Mainstream Rock (1/29/05) and #16 Modern Rock (1/29/05). The corresponding video for "Let Me Go" was added to national formats (Jan 28) and features young actors Jodi Lyn O'Keefe (Boston Legal) and Jesse Metcalfe (Desperate Housewives).
No stranger to hit singles, 3 Doors Down have had six #1 singles - "Kryptonite," "Duck & Run," "Loser," "Be Like That," "When I'm Gone" and "Here Without You," making them one of the most popular and consistently successful rock bands in recent history. According to Billboard Magazine, they were the first debut act to ever have had a #1 single at four different radio formats simultaneously with "Kryptonite" and the quintet went on to win the 2003 Billboard Music Awards for "Best Pop/Rock Group" and "Best Hot 100 Single," as well as earning the distinction of seeing "When I'm Gone" become the most played song in 2003 according to the Nielson Vegas for Artist of the Year: Modern AC Radio. In the past four years, 3 Doors Down have moved from accomplishment to accomplishment, clearly establishing themselves as an exceptional band, both in the studio and on stage.
Seventeen Days promises to continue the high standards set by its successful forbears. It is the band's first studio album since 2002's multi-platinum Away from The Sun and the first new material since 2003's RIAA Gold certified live EP Another 700 Miles. Seventeen Days shows growth and maturity in both musicianship and songwriting. talents over the course of the disc, easily transitioning from aggro rockers like "Live For Today" to plaintive ballads such as the album closing "Here By Me."
An exceptional live band, 3 Doors Down stands among the top concert draws in North America, performing over 300 sold-out live shows a year. The band plan to tour extensively for Seventeen Days and have some special events lined up for fans including a live concert at the Daytona International for 200,000 people on February 12th. "I grew up in New Jersey. My mom was in insurance, and my dad owned a men's clothing store. Before I was in my teens, I thought it would be cool to become a ventriloquist. It turned out that this place sold props for ventriloquists was also a magic shop. So instead of walking out with a dummy, I ended up with a bag of tricks. I started doing little shows in my home town. When I was 18 I got this part in a musical called "The Magic Man" I got to do my own illusions and sing. The longer the play ran, the more illusions I performed, and the less songs they wanted me to do. I guess I wasn't cut out to be a singer. When the show closed, I starved in New York for a year, and my dad would slip me a few bucks to pay the heating bill. I sat in my apartment inventing magic, finding the right music, and staging routines. I knocked on a lot of doors and sent out a lot of video tapes. One day I got a phone call to be the host of a TV show. I was 19, and I couldn't believe it. My first few specials were to music by Gershwin. My inspirations were Gene Kelly and Fred Astaire. I though I was really cool. I wore big collars, shiny jackets, and a bad haircut. On my fourth special, I wanted to go beyond the normal number. So I took that shiny jacket and that bad haircut and made an airplane disappear."
